Born In Jalhander in the stae of Punjab, and words which determine her are, ONE WHO BELIEVES IN KARMA, and this is what the director thinks of life towards future. This has made their partnership of working together very comfortable with each other and this is the only reason the only actress on the sts who used to give a 1 take shots. Although through makeing the movie the director has to make lot of compromises because of the dates problem but the director never wanted to compromise with the role given to her as he strongly belived that the requirement of every shot could be fulfilled by her only. When we asked the director her positive points and those were:

A girl with natural beauty, this is what the world says about her. One thing which can not be ever ignored is her hard work, this lady knows how to work hard and till what extend but somewhere this force gets limited as she is the one who never leaves her schedule, she determines everything with time and will never be even change it no matter if there is a cyclone warning on a national TV program. Upamanyu has always said this to everyone that when dark clouds were around, she was the one who never left the unit and the makers in dark, and big credit goes to her for the completion of movie.
Heena Khan
The producer and the most outrageous person on the sets. As the movie shoots started in the beginning she was the most beloved person and actors used to think her the best in the planet but it was all illusion and soon she became the most hated person on the sets, but somewhere everyone believes that there has to be someone like her to maintain the discipline and the root reason the movie was kept on track even after the team got collapsed goes to her, as someone told us that she was not ready to back off many times when the team was accused of the worst and not capable of anything. There was a time when some outsiders said that this team is capable
of doing nothing or nautanki. But she has a strong trust where she
chose to ignore those elements and turned into a strict maths teacher
alike and put on restrictions and brought the best from every one.
Ravi Sharma
The director has got two favs in the team and one of them is Ravi Sharma, and when was asked about the reason of favoritism, the answer was very straight and it was, "HIS PASSION". Now that is what we call a pure professionalism from a relation of a director and an actor. Upamanyu said that during shoots they used to chat for few seconds only but in that time Ravi used to ask what he should deliver to come upto the expectations. There has been many sleepless nights that Ravi has spent because his director has not praised him or he was not able to deliver the best which was expected during casting, in the regular results been showed by the director he used to be in the bottom of the chart, but he just focused on his acting capabilities and as said by Geet the producer of the movie, "no one was even around among the male co-stars to beat him but still he is not the perfect as I am expecting more from him".
Vikas Kumar Sharma
The dark horse, those were the words came out when were were talking
about him. Upamanyu said that he is the one who never takes
everything seriously but when he comes at the stake he performs the
best. He know how to work hard and he is among the category of person
who if pulled once can go till edge. He was at a great rescue to the
unit as at any point if the crew gets struck into any trouble, despite
being an actor he would just go beyond the time limits and will
give you the desired solutions and as said by Miss Geet, "I can not
imagine The Broken Trestle without him"
Saahib
He was the first actor who was casted for the movie, and after him the whole casting was done. He is known to be the very close to the director personally and he says that "when we are learning from someone we should take age a criteria and bank balance of course, over that I dont have both so I had a great time Upamanyu". The jolliest person on the sets and due to him everyone used to be always charged up and laughing. He admires "Emran Hashmi" as his icon GOD and want to be like him in every aspect and he always wants us stress on the word IN EVERY ASPECT.
Hem Arya
The man with attitude and magic in vocals. That is what Hem Arya is all about. Upamanyu says that he has got a very sharp brain when comes to camera, but he is very much influenced by his friends, he has lack of will power but once if he accelerates in one direction he can touch skies. Hem and Upamanyu shared their office space and from there only they came up to a point where they ended up on the sets of The Broken Trestle. Seventy Five percent of the shoots has been reeled by him and Upamanyu believes that he can give a throat cutting competition to any cinematographer in the industry, but these days he is busy with Shary Mann I guess.
Mickey
A very strange story we came to know when it came to Mickey. More than the director and the producers in the unit, this person was most loved by the Director's mother. He was very close to every one in the unit and suddenly he taken back himself from the movie for some reasons which Upamanyu refused to state us, but he stated us that, "he is just a gem which one can not even find in the deep seas of pacific, but he never give preference to me at least, I dont know about the others but I was always on the last in his list of attendees, he still dont pick my calls. He never attended the screening of the movie too. I hope to get to see him on the premier and I have send him tickets, I dont even know whether he has got or not. I hope he knows what he want to do in his life as life is not about money but
it is about self satisfaction which money can only be kept as a
substitution.
